Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My amazing fiance JP as well as my happiest Dad Henry are also part of our clan. Most people are familiar with me from my Instagram @annephung where I share my daily life, highs and lows, as well as everything inbetween. At the age of 1 year old my family, me and my parents moved to America. If it weren't for the hard work of my parents I might not even be here today sharing my life with you. My parents inspired me and I worked to be successful. I believed that my life would be a certain way: graduate from university, be offered a corporate position, marry and begin an family. Although I was convinced that this was the definition of successful, my life was not following the plans. My corporate job in 2013 was a job I hated. Status and money were not what I needed to feel happy. I thought I was wasting away my time to make a living. While I moved toward a new direction in my life, I began to discover that personal training was my passion. I'm a sucker for exercise, enjoy being in the company of people and am eager to help people. The business I started in 2014. I am celebrating my seventh anniversary in this calendar year. Very few Asian women are employed in the fashion industry. As coach, my mission is to motivate others and empower them to live a healthy and enjoyable life by establishing sustainable lifestyles that cater to every person's individual needs and desires. Additionally, I aim to inspire others to pursue the goals they have set for themselves and achieve anything they would like to accomplish. My professional career began to take off when I experienced the greatest happiness of my life. But, my mom died just as my career took off. The battle she fought for eight years with the disease has ended and she is now in Heaven. She will forever be in my heart and brain. It is amazing how life will teach us the exact instruction we require, even if we aren't aware of that it is there. My Mom's passing changed me in so many ways. I believe my mom gave me a second opportunity to live my life after her passing. Her death occurred on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. This was her moment to begin her new life. I got my second chance to live an enjoyable and fulfilling life. The thing I'm feeling now in my 30s is a sense of awe and vitality. It's like I am truly living, rather than just surviving. In sharing my story, I hope that my thoughts will resonate with you. My hope is to help you realize that you're not alone. I believe that you are blessed with the ability to achieve whatever you want to achieve. Only one life is yours. I hope you enjoy it to the max.
