Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. She is similar with The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. Her first review was in 2009 and, after garnering some status on their forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. The website was her home until 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She has two podcasts co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
